I have finally, finally started driving lessons. :) Heee. Passed my final theory more than a year ago but I'd been too lazy to find an instructor. Till NOW.

I've been for two lessons and it's qt fun!! Love it when the car moves. So amazing, science. I hate stalling though. Feel qt embarrassed whenever it happens. (There was once I was waiting at a traffic light and just when the light turned green the car stalled. And there was a bus full of people behind me. :(:( The bus driver was v patient though, and didn't horn. Heee.)

Yaay. I shall help christine win her bet with jon!!

Hols = love. I spend all day nuaing. :):) So lazy to blog also. Heh.

And... I want this dress!! I think it's v pretty and wearable and it's cheap but it's EVERYWHERE. So I don't want it anymore. :(:( Upset. :(:(

Went to watch the Chee/SDP trial today. We queued for six hours, from 8.30-2.30, standing, but we only got to see 1 hour of the trial. Really qt a waste of time. :( Cos there was a break during the trial, and we left to go to the toilet, not knowing that after that we couldn't get back inside without queueing again. -_- They didn't even inform us before that. So mean right!! And open court should be able to sit more people. But overall it was qt exciting, seeing all these people we've read so much about - Chee & his sister, the PM, and Davinder - up close. I think litigation is scary. But exciting!

So far, I've kept to my resolution not to buy dresses! Go me!! :)

Unfortunately, I still seem unable to hold on to my money. In the past three days, I have bought - one bag, one bracelet, two skirts and three pairs of shorts.

Today peis, ade and I went to the lime flea market. It wasn't that crowded but it was scorching. Sigh. And they are horrible people to shop with when you're trying not to spend money cos they kept encouraging me to buy!!! :( Heee but fun. I especially <3 my cupcake charm bracelet. :):)

No more buying stuff!! (Except clothes for work.)

I feel stupid.

Today, I found a pair of shorts that I liked in cotton on. They were 1 for $19.95, and 2 for $20. So I asked this girl, who was also holding one pair of shorts, whether she wanted to share and get. She agreed. The shorts were packed into two separate bags. She peeked inside one, took the bag, and went off, and I kept the other bag.

When I got home, I found that I had taken home the wrong pair of shorts. :(:(:(:( They are a different colour and size.

WHY did I not check!?!??!

I am upset. :(:(

Today I met haz for lunch!

Then went for zouk flea with ade and peis. So crowded my goodness. I bought a v pretty necklace! Am v pleased. :):) Peis bought a ring and a bunny brooch and the loveliest tan marc jacobs pumps. Am envious. Heee.

I wanna start making my own jewellery. Yaay.

I need to stop buying black, basic things.

Had lunch with my family today at wildrocket. Belated mother's day celebration. :):)

And after all that food, I came home and baked somemore. Heeee. Baked TWO things! The savoury breakfast scones were v yummy and made me v happy. :):) Anything studded with lots of bacon and cheese and scallions is bound to be good. :):) The molten choc cake with irish cream was not as successful though. It was yummy, but not qt molten enough. Ohh well. Try again some other time. :)

K. I have decided to stop buying dresses. Tempting as they are, I hardly wear them. Shall buy more practical things, like tops. -nods- Unless the dress is v v pretty and worth it.

This week there's been a flurry of birthdays and other random stuff, and now I am broke.

Monday night was audrey's 21st party, at yuankai's house. It was a successful surprise! V good, considering our track record for surprises is pretty bad. The food was yummy and I tried to play car racing using the steering wheel instead of the console. It was v hard and I kept crashing. :(:( Heee audrey and yuankai were so cute. And he bought choc cakes even though he can't eat! :)

Tuesday afternoon I went shopping with dee, then earned back the money spent by giving tuition. At night was caitlin's 21st, at al dente at esplanade. The food's not that great but again the surprise was good! She was v v shocked and kept exclaiming. And she thought her fake present - a shredder - was a laser printer. -_- But she liked the kate spade wallet much more! :):)

Wednesday we went to mortini's and paulanger brauhaus to celebrate pak's birthday. The martinis were good but they were being v slow with the steak sandwiches, so I only had 2.5. :( Oh well. At paulanger's I shared a sausage platter with jq. Qt nice, I think can come back again. :) We are such greedy people, we proceeded right from one to the other (though somehow we managed to take 45 min to walk from mandarin oriental to millenia walk, which is kind of just next to it).

Today I met jq, risse, justin & andre for crab beehoon but both melben and uncle leong's were closed. :( So we ate zi char! Which was just as good. Yaaay. :)

I realised that my blog entries are so interspersed with smileys and sad faces that it's hard to tell when I'm really happy or really down. Nvm! Hols = happy!

Yay it looks like rain. :):) What a welcome change from the past few weeks of blazing heat! No matter what people say about sunshine & smiles, I like gloomy weather best. Heee. (Except when it actually starts to rain and you're out in your new shoes.)

Went for Vishal's party on Saturday night. Although it was at the same condo as my tuition kid, we spent like half an hour walking around before we found Vishal's block. Had no idea the condo was so sprawling. Heee. The party was good, if a little warm (but then these few days, what else is new?). The drinks were good and plenty. :):)

Exams are over YAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Three months' hols now. :):):):) I have a long long list of things to do, beginning with finding a driving instructor.

Today was good. After public law, we lunched and happy houred at brewerkz, then I went shopping with christine and sharm while the guys (& mich) went to play lan. -_- Realised that for some reason the girls are always outnumbered by far. We took up one car while they took up like... 4? Heh. Shopping was fun though I was qt tired. Bought shoes!! Which I am v happy about. :):) Then watched Harold & Kumar, which was v funny though a bit too uncensored. Loved the political statements. Heee. Then dinnered at Fish&Co. Laaaaa. So happy and sleepy now.
