So tired these few days. Been sleeping at ten plus but it doesn't seem to help. Hopefully we're going back to sn tmr. It might perk me up. And I can't find my Quantum tutorial. Am greatly upset by this. What's the point of filing worksheets meticulously every night if they're going to vanish into thin air?

Teacher's Day tmr! That means pizza. :) I feel qt guilty that I haven't gotten my teachers anything, esp when they've been so helpful and nice. Yup. I think I'm qt lucky regarding the teachers I've got. I hope I'll feel the same way when prelim results come back. We had GP prelims on monday. I left feeling quite satisfied with my essay, but the more I think about it, the more I feel I could have written more points into it. :( And compre was gross. Could not even begin to comprehend Passage B.

Went shopping with xiaoyan today, just got back. :) Yay today was qt fruitful. Saw many nicenice things! Like the soft bunny in the hammock. And the musical box device that you have to crank up yourself. Was so tempted to buy it, but Moon River was sold out. The upper floors of Ngee Ann City now have a couple of new craft&paper shops, v nice. I bought some paper. I love nice paper, even though I hardly ever use it, just keep it and take it out to admire it once in awhile. Oh, and I bought new lipbalm. LipIce apple with SPF15! It's nice and minty. My old Nivea one melted in the sun and has since been relegated to a place in the fridge next to the eggs. Pity. Oh, and I managed to get what I came out for. :) I must really cut down on going out. This is the second time I've gone out this week. Ok. Shall stop. No more, at least not for another week.

I got both Heartburn and The Picture of Dorian Gray for a grand total of <$26 today, yay for 30% Borders discount! But I felt qt bad about dragging dee all the way to town cos she ended up not getting anything from Borders, and bought sth from Kino -without discount- instead. Hoho we found out that both VJ and NJ are having their proms on the 1st of dec, so we're gonna meet up and take pics! Fun fun. :) Have decided to stop reading Street Haunting. It's not pre-exam reading material; it should be read on a lovely, breezy day when I don't have A's lurking somewhere in the back of my mind. So I shall read it post-A's, or at least post-prelims. Instead, I'm going to read Heartburn. Chicklit almost always makes me happy.

Watched Wedding Crashers yesterday! Super funny. It's the first NC-16 show I've watched, actually. Haha and I'm about to be 18. Am v guai, I know, not counting all the times I've watched American Pie and its sequels. I was supposed to go to Ikea today, but my mom said it's gonna be really crowded so we're going tomorrow instead. Aah well. I love that place. I just found out that it's where my aunt got her super comfy soft squishy sofa from. I want one too! Next time.

I really must stop visiting the SQ forums. It's addictive, all the speculation and canon-backed theories and analysis in there. My personal favourite is the one about the horcruxes. But then it's kind of creepy at the same time.

Wei Qi says my blog's v boring, cos I keep talking about studies. Well, what to do? A v large part of my life revolves around studies right now. But anyway, I shall attempt to talk about something else. Like swimming. I wanna go swimming! I finally bought a new swimsuit during the June hols but I've swam all of two times since. Quite sad actually. Shall go swimming regularly once the Grandeur is up! My mom was showing me photos of me in my purple grad gown in sec 4 and, I must say, I was quite horrified. I so badly needed a tan. In fact, I still do. Some people look really good all fair and white. Like Alexis Bledel and Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman! Quite unfair, actually. (Btw, that was so not meant to be a pun.) I realised I have this weird skin tone where if I don't tan, my veins are scarily visible. After A's I shall go tanning and swimming at the same time. How do people get golden tans? I tend to go from red to brown and back to yellow. Eek. Oh, went for the CO concert on Friday with some classmates. Haha, Jie Yu cracked me up by showing up late in this long-sleeved, pressed shirt and office pants. Like on the way to work or something, the only thing missing was a tie. It was qt sad to see that half the people attending the concert were in school uniform. I mean, isn't it enough to be in head-to-toe grey ten hours a day, five days a week?
