Emma and Rupert talk GOFIn a recent interview with the BBC, Emma expressed her enthusiasm about the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:"It's a great plot. Although the book was quite dark, he's really bringing out some really great elements in it, like a lot of the awkwardness between teenagers and there are some fantastic jokes. It's brilliant."Furthermore, in a seperate interview on GMTV, Rupert had the following to say regarding the Hermione/Ron romance in the fourth film: "It started in the second film, then in the third film it became a little more and now in Goblet of Fire there's loads of it!"

Was surfing Mugglenet and found the above post. I am happy. :):):) It is childish and ridiculous that I should be so affected by this but I am happy. Kind of miss my R/Hr-obsessed days.

The prospect of watching The OC later makes me unbelievably happy. I needwantneed the soundtrack! I'm ridiculously in love with the song 'California'.

I spent the whole afternoon baking! From lunch till dinner. I don't know whether to feel pleased or to dismiss it as a waste of time. Anyway I have lots and lots of crispy mini-cookies now, some with raisins stuck in them, in really cute shapes. That's two consecutive days of baking- I baked a few batches of chewy peanut butter cookies yesterday. Baking is my newest hobby; it's fun and relaxing and I feel all warm and good when I take the cake or cookies or cupcakes or whatever out of the oven, all soft and brown and sweet-smelling. The only problem is... who's going to eat everything??? Next mission: Christmas cookies.

I need to get down to Borders and Times asap while the discounts are still on.
I also need to catalogue my wardrobe (hahaha), and write a Christmas list, both of what I want and what I plan to get for other people.

Just call me shallow.

(Brace yourselves. This is going to be one confusing post. Not in chronological order.)

Got back from the class chalet this afternoon. Slept for four hours, then woke up just in time for dinner. I am a real pig. Class chalet was fun, despite it being more of a half-the-class chalet. I don't want to expand on this. I'm quite sick of it, frankly. Anyway, I'm now addicted to mahjong. I was before, when I'd play it with my cousins every Saturday, but then we stopped, and never got back into it. Played loads of it at the chalet, v fun! I baked moist chocolate cupcakes for the chalet! And I'm listening to Clocks by Coldplay now. V pretty music. Especially the introduction. :) On the second day of the chalet we went to Pulau Ubin to cycle and hike and such. Got scratched by loads of plants and vines and rocks. Very tiring, but also very fun. Cycling rocks. I got a little tanned! Oh yay, I am no longer paper-white. :) The view of the quarry is amazing. And because of that excursion my slippers are no more! The v nice black-and-grey pair from heeren! :( The guys lost the soccer game to beek's class, 3-4. But it was a very friendly match. Haha lohbeekee's such a bimbo, honestly, warming the pizza upside-down. So silly! (Cheese does not look like crust.) Oh and we played some version of Murderer (polar bear?) and I'm absolutely terrible at guessing the murderer. But I make a good one myself! Don't know if that's a good thing or not. Mr Yong came for the bbq! Hoho that was interesting. Estelle and Russell were showing him card tricks and he was all bewildered. And Terrence tried using physics to explain the tricks, haha. And I taught him mahjong! Lionel got Mr Yong to sit down and then he left me there all by myself and I had to explain all the rules to Mr Yong, which was scary but fun. And he won! Why is it that no one in my class can cook? Excluding the bbq, all our meals in the chalet were either bought (packed food and chips), ordered (pizza), microwaved (chicken and fishballs) or... cup noodles. Quite sad, actually. Oh, well. I'm having a flu now. Why is it I always get sick after chalets and stuff? :( (I have got to stop using so many emoticons and learn better self-expression.)

I've been shopping. PW OP was over on tues, and on tues, thur, fri and sat I've been shopping like nobody's business. Orchard's just teeming with post-exams students hungry for fun after having been deprived of it for months and months. I bought some hair accessories, a skirt from heeren, a polo tee from zara and a black topshop top. Next up there's xmas shopping! But I'm already broke. And I still haven't gotten my bags and a pink skirt. Been talking to beek and jy and we realised we're kind of high maintenance. Which is very bad, but hard to cure.
