Yay I'm going librarying with the girls tmr. :) Hopefully we'll be able to get some actual studying done; the last time we went we ended up abandoning our books in favour of shopping. But we're desperate now; we'll work.

I was searching for books on Google and Amazon, and it struck me how much I miss going to Kinokuniya. I'm going to do a lot of that once the promos are over. Not to mention a whole lot of shoppingshoppingshopping. And movie-watching! I need to think of all this, to keep me going when all I see are chemical equations and free body diagrams.

I can't do this. I can't. My optimism from a few days before has all but evaporated, and studying sucks big-time. I hatehatehate gravitation. That topic is driving me nuts, seriously. One day I'm going to rip out all my hair and it'll be Newton's fault.

It doesn't help that I've been eating and eating like nobody's business lately. It's a study strategy of mine. Every five minutes I think, 'I need reinforcement', and 95% of the time it comes in the form of food. No, really. I just ate like a whole mini mooncake. (By the way, it's really yummy. White snow-skin filled with lotus paste, and instead of the yolk it's a huge white chocolate ball. And I didn't get to eat any mooncakes at the HC MAF cos they were so bloody ex.) And then washed it down with FairPrice apple juice, which is really sugar water with a few drops of apple syrup (if there's such a thing). The moment promos are over I need to go detox. Anyone wanna join me?

I've finally begun studying! As in, I've actually drawn up a timetable and all, nevermind that I've only filled it in till this Sunday; flexibility is good. And I'm still going online and watching TV and reading and doing all the normal things, but I've stopped going out! Vast improvement there. I'm actually kind of excited about all this. Crazy, I know, but true. It feels good to actually be doing something.

It's really cold today, but I love this weather. :)

BIRTHDAYS ROCK.

And yay, mine seems to be getting better every year. I got three pairs of earrings this year, haha. Lots of assorted choc/candy/cake/subwaycookies, book vouchers, books, roses, a cushion, jewelry, a handphone keychain thingie, a watch, heels, a coffee mug (to be used as a tea cup, as they thought my msn pic was a coffee mug!), some very creative personalised cards, etc., etc. Love the presents, love the people who gave them more. :)

Just watched the last episode of Friends. It was lovely, but sadly so. I'll miss them; they perked me up every monday without fail. :(

Had a fab time today at Jackie's house! Steamboat, surprises, story-telling and secrets. Chad Michael Murray looks damn good in A Cinderella Story! I mean, wow. Find me someone on earth who looks better than him. Go ahead, it's a challenge. Anyway, the ice-cream cake was gorgeous. Looked too good to be eaten, but we dug in anyway and it was really yummy. Prob gained like 5kg but who cares. Tribe rocks, really. :)

Sept hols were meant for me to catch up on study, sleep and play but I've only managed one and predictably it's the latter. I'm so dead for promos. There's a giant book fair on at Somerset from the 10th-12th of this month and I'm going! :):):):):)

I haven't been online since Thursday! That's a record. Been busy busy busy. This hols are meant to be mainly for studying, but I have dance three times this week and the rest of the days I'm going out. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I've been in an incredibly good mood these past two days.

We celebrated Teacher's Day yesterday in NJ. There was a class picnic and everything but I hardly sat down for ten minutes as I was performing. Regarding the dance, I screwed up a bit, but in retrospect it wasn't so bad after all. Celebrated Sam's birthday with the dance ppl, then popped down to HC for awhile before cabbing down to SN with jy and beek. Being back in St. Nicks rocked. I saw so many friends! Took loads of pics, crashed Mrs. Yeo's math lesson, ate lots, got my hair frenchbraided, hung out in the lib like old times (very classy, I know :)) , talked&gossiped&chatted&laughed for hours. Most of us went to J8 after that, and some of us ended up watching Stepford Wives. It's been so long since I watched a movie with the 4U girls. It was fun. The movie was visually very pretty; I'm referring to the set and the clothes and Nicole Kidman. It was really disturbing though. The psychotic lady's in serious need of mental therapy.

After the movie I left for my current-class outing. I was afraid it'd be awkward considering the circumstances but it turned out surprisingly well. :)

This morn I met dee and jy in amk lib to study. For the first half an hour we just walked around looking for books completely unrelated to whatever we were supposed to be studying. I couldn't find what I was looking for, but I picked up a great book on creative journalling. For the next hour and a half or so we managed to get a little bit of studying done. At noon we had lunch, then engaged in girl talk for the subsequent 2 hours. After we tired of talking we decided to pack our bags and go shopping! It was an impromptu thing; it was spontaneous and fun. For some reason I felt perfectly comfortable walking around town in shorts and tee. As I said, it's like my third home. :P The shopping was minimal; most of the time we spent camped in Subway. I must go there more. The sandwiches there are supposed to be healthier. And the cookies there are amazing. All soft and yummy. I met Xiaoyan for a little more shopping before going home. As you can see, my day was completely successful, if your idea of success is the same as mine. :)
